I have to admit this was my first small, intimate wedding of this nature. I’m used to large, fast-paced, all day affairs with tons of guests and large bridal parties… running around, sweating our you-know-whats off. After yesterday’s wedding though, all I can say is that I’m totally hooked now and hope for many, many more of these in the future. The wedding was incredibly laid back, relaxed and casual. The Holladay House in Orange, Virginia was the perfect setting, the owners were amazing and you could just feel the love from every single person there. The owner Sharon and I joked about it being the Holladay House, on a Holiday weekend, shot by a girl named Holly. It was completely copacetic. Thank you Brenda and Issac for having me. May your new lives together be blessed. <3
The rain finally stopped and our session was a go, with NO humidity! It’s hard to believe with all the yucky weather lately but it turned out to be absolutely gorgeous out… just like Nicole and Carl.
I met Chelsea and Keith at the Culpeper Bridal show and I’m sooooo glad I did. Both school teachers, both athletic, both full of life and fun. We had to reschedule their session due to the dreaded spring rain but as in all things, it worked even better. I was supposed to pick out a couple of images for a preview but I just couldn’t. I couldn’t. Teehee. I went ahead and skipped the preview and went straight to blogging the session. Hopefully you’ll enjoy this as much as I did!
Look at this beautiful creature. Just look at her! Claire is a natural in front of the lens and my camera sang for her today. So sweet, so kind, so SMART… I enjoyed today as much as she did!
Gorgeous couple with snow in the beautiful downtown area of Fredericksburg, Virginia. What could be more fun? Well, pretty much NOTHING, in my opinion!
